A: No. The make and model alone are not sufficient to identify the correct option. Although manufacturers seldom alter product designs, this cannot be assumed. The most reliable method for selecting the proper adapter is to measure the taper. The wheel size you intend to mount is also critical in determining the appropriate adapter. These measurements enable us to specify the adapter that fits your machine with the proper clearances.
A: If you know for sure that you have a SOPKO adapter, we have a few options for adapter pullers available. The pullers are threaded into our adapter and pushed off of the spindle using the built in hex bolt.
If you have an adapter that is unknown or not a SOPKO adapter, it is suggested to use a backing like a board and a hammer or mallet to "shimmy" the adapter off by tapping the backing in a star pattern. Be careful not to damage the spindle.
A: Yes! While we have an extensive catalog available her on the website, we can do customization and made-to-order fabrication. Visit our Contact Us page to fill out a request form and tell us more about what you are looking for.
A: No. Unfortunately we cannot know how much work or what would need to be done to fix your spindle without physically assessing it. Visit the Spindle Rebuilding page to submit a request for quote.
