Calculate the taper per foot (TPF) of your spindle:

Large End of Spindle Taper (LE): inches

Small End of Spindle Taper (SE): inches

• 3.000° TPF adapters fit surface grinders and cylindrical grinders

• 4.500° TPF adapters fit tool and cutter grinders

The "wheel width to be locked" refers to the width of the grinding wheel at the bore, not the overall width.
