01000 (BS1000) PORTABLE STATIC WHEEL BALANCER. Furnished with stand, leveling screw, bubble level, 3/16" hex wrench 03866, mounted hardened precision ground rails, and detailed operating instructions. The stand is 6-1/2" wide and 4-13/16" high with a 4" throat. It will handle 8" maximum diameter wheels and can be used with or without balancing style wheel adapters. For the lowest micro-inch finishes, use the BS1000 stand with SOPKO balancing ring adapters.

01001 (BS1000K1) PORTABLE STATIC WHEEL BALANCING KIT includes the 01000 (BS1000) balancing stand, the precision ground 52273 balancing arbor with nut, and the 00251 (B230-1) 3" diameter standard taper wheel adapter with balancing rings for 1/2" wide wheels maximum. Balancing Style Wheel Adapter Accessories.
3.000" TPF WITH 1.00" DIAMETER AT LARGE END OF TAPER. FOR 1.250" ID WHEELS.
Using Sopko balancing adapters in your shop makes it possible for you to grind the ultimate in close finish requirements. The milled pockets have a 180° arc length. One end of the arc on each ring is permanently stamped with a reference line and arrow to designate the direction of rotation. Unlike some balancing adapters, Sopko balancing rings “sandwich” the milled pockets together inside the mated faces. Grinding grit can’t build up inside.

Sopko BW-1 and BW-3 balancing devices are not designed to be used immediately next to the grinding wheel unless the opposite flange
is exactly 3" in diameter. Balancing devices are designed to be used between the wheel adapter nut and the existing washer flange,
which should be exactly the same diameter as the opposite flange. Sopko balancing devices are simple to use. Place the balancing washer
between the standard lock washer and the standard adapter nut. Then mount on balancing arbor.
Adjust weights until the adapter no longer rotates on the balancing stand.

08000 Used to finish radii on dies or other parts requiring small contour grinding, this unit is perfect for the tool room, job shop, or any number of occasional use applications. Designed for long life and heavy use, the Sopko High Speed Attachment kit increases the productivity of your surface grinder. When attached, it’s like having an extra machine in the shop at only a fraction of the cost. The center distance between the surface grinder spindle and the attachment spindle is held to a minimum with our latest bracket design. The attachment spindle is shorter in length than competitive units, allowing maximum over-table use horizontally or vertically.
