The Loewe flanged adapter one piece design distributes wheel mounting pressure away from the bore, the weakest part of the grinding wheel. The resulting rigidity and the precision ground flange provides an identical radial load bearing surface for positive wheel lock. Machined from solid alloy steel, all surfaces are ground concentric and square. Completely heat treated, the Loewe flanged adapter is safe to use and maintains its rigidity.

The 01108 Levin adapter features a high quality internal taper for a precision spindle mount and ground OD threads. All surfaces are ground square and concentric for better workpiece finish, and component parts are heat treated for strength and rigidity.
